The winner of the Division II, Region 7 tournament will be decided in Friday night's playoff affair between Uniontown Lake and Massillon Washington at Byers Field in Parma.
The top two seeds in the region, the No. 1 Tigers (11-1) and the No. 2 Blue Streaks (12-1) have both been among Stark County's - and Ohio's - best programs for the 2022 season, and will face off for the first time in both of their respective histories.
The game will be on Big Time Sports on Friday evening at 11 p.m. and Saturday at 9 a.m., in both Tuscarawas (Spectrum Channel 15) and Stark Counties (MCT 128).

THE TEAMS
MASSILLON (11-1)
The Tigers have steamrolled opponents through their first three playoff games, taking down Perry (48-7), Canal Winchester (34-0), and Big Walnut (42-21) en route to their sixth consecutive regional final appearance.
Running back Willtrell Hartson has gained at least 100 yards in every Massillon contest this season, and his 211-yard performance last week against Walnut was his second single-game best of the year. Hartson will not only have playoff aspirations to play for on Friday, but he is 176 rushing yards away from Travis McGuire's school best of 1,976 for the 1991 season, along with Jamir Thomas's career mark of 4,025.
For the Tigers' passing attack, senior Ardell Banks has 12 receiving touchdowns, and averages 21.1 yards per catch from Massillon sophomore Jalen Slaughter.
LAKE (12-1)
The Blue Streaks have been able to win out their first three games of the tournament, beating Dublin Scioto, 33-17, before edging both St. Francis DeSales (13-7) and Westerville South (16-7). They are looking for their first state appearance since their 2010 semifinal run.
Federal League Player of the Year Will Butler has been dominant on the offensive ground, averaging 5.1 yards per carry for 761 total rushing yards, along with 18 touchdowns. He has also thrown for 447 yards, seven touchdowns and two interceptions while at quarterback, splitting time with Cale Jarvis.
Dylan Snyder leads the Streaks with 11 receiving touchdowns, while averaging 27.4 yards per catch.
